Franck Bedrossian lecture/concert

  • New England Conservatory Brown Hall 290 Huntington Avenue Boston, MA, 02115 United States (map)

Composer Franck Bedrossian, pioneer of the use of sonic saturation in music, presents a lecture-concert on his works. The concert features his breakthrough Transmission for solo bassoon and electronics, as well as Lamento for voice and electronics, and Tracès d’Ombres for string quartet. NEC alumni Chris Watford, bassoon, and Nina Guo, soprano, will be joined by the Neruda Quartet (Eva Aronian and Brian Hong, violins, Jesse Morrison, viola, and Alex Hersch, cello), NEC’s honors quartet. I will be coaching Nina and the Neruda Quartet on Lamento and Tracès d’ Ombres.

Entrance free
